When we finally agreed to theme our final piece on war we decided to look on the internet for any inspiring speeches or poetry, and this was when we came across Viscount Montgomery’s Inspiring speech given to the paratroopers who made the first landing on D-Day. I deceded to make a short video clip showing the guitar as I thought this would show it better. This is the finished thing with all four tuners, strings attached and the pick-ups attached. Recording went well today. looking into experimental music, we decided it would be interesting to try and recreate teh sound of a battle field through music. so far we have recorded ourselves playing our instruments in a way that befits this idea and imported the sounds into garage band. using this we hope to create [ READ MORE ]
Now the guitar is finished, Jack and myself have got together to discuss creating a piece of music. as well as the amplifier, Jack has also made a diddley bow complete with pickups to amplify the sound.
